Pretty good experience overall

So, I was looking into their ISA programme, specifically the Ingénieur Agriculture track. The website was easy to navigate, found what I needed without much fuss. I even checked out the dates for their open house. Everything seemed pretty clear. It felt like a solid option, no weird surprises or anything. Just a straightforward experience getting info.

Consistent quality, second time around

This was my second time dealing with Junia, this time applying for a Formation continue course after having done a Summer School a few years back. They're still very reliable. The enrollment for the new course was just as smooth as I remembered, and the communication about start dates and materials was clear. It's good to see that their processes haven't changed much, still very efficient. That consistency is why I came back, knowing I'd get a good experience again.

I checked out the Ingénieur Informatique program. The website had good info, and the application process was straightforward. No issues there, everything went as expected.

Solid program, needs clearer housing help

I applied for the Bachelor Numérique at the Lille campus. The admission process was quite smooth, and I appreciated how quickly they responded to my questions about the curriculum. The program itself seems very comprehensive, which is a big plus. My only minor gripe was that while they mentioned aid for housing, the specifics on how to actually secure it or get detailed advice were a bit vague. It would be helpful to have a more direct guide or contact for that.

Detailed review of application and support

I recently applied for the Master of Science program. The online application portal was user-friendly, though it did take a bit of time to gather all the required documents. I had a question about my transcripts, so I contacted their admissions office via email. They responded within 24 hours, which was pretty efficient, and the representative was very helpful and clarified everything. The overall process, from initial inquiry about the program to receiving my acceptance, felt well-organized. I also attended one of their online info sessions, which gave a good overview of the campus facilities and career prospects. The information provided about the curriculum for the MSc was quite thorough, outlining specific modules and project opportunities. It helped me feel confident in my choice.

Good value with alternance

I was really focused on finding a program that wouldn't break the bank. The Ingénieur en alternance option for the HEI programme was perfect. Being able to have my tuition covered by a company made a huge difference. It felt like excellent value for the quality of education. Definitely worth looking into if you're budget-conscious.

considering Junia vs IMT Nord Europe for an IT engineering degree. Any thoughts on which one is better, or what makes Junia stand out?

N Neil 2 months ago
Hmm, I know a few people at both. Junia's IT program (ISEN) is pretty solid, especially if you're into embedded systems or digital tech. IMT is good too, maybe a bit more generalist in some areas.

It really depends on what you wanna specialize in. Junia has that HEI/ISEN/ISA split which kinda lets you pick a specific vibe. Worth checking their specific program details for IT.

Are there different kinds of scholarships for Junia, beyond just the Crous ones? Wondering if the school itself offers anything.

M Megan Marsh 3 months ago
Pretty sure they have internal scholarships, like based on merit or social criteria. Not just Crous. You'd have to check their financial aid section on the site.

My cousin got a partial internal scholarship from them a couple years back, I think it was based on his academic record. So yeah, they do exist.

Anyone know how the whole 'alternance' thing works for tuition? Like, if I get into an alternance program, does it really mean I don't pay anything?

C Chris Whitfield 2 months ago
Yep, that's pretty much it. If you get a company to take you on for alternance, they cover your tuition. It's a sweet deal if you can find one.

I'm in an alternance program right now at another grande école, not Junia, but it's the same principle. My company pays my tuition directly. So, huge savings, and you get work experience too.

What's the deal with the application fees? Are those ever waived? Like, for open house attendees or something?

J Jared W. 3 months ago
I don't think they're typically waived just for attending an open house. I heard sometimes they might waive them if you apply really early or meet certain criteria, but it's not a common thing.

afaik, you usually have to pay them. The only 'reduction' I've seen mentioned is if you get a specific scholarship that covers admin fees, but not like a blanket waiver.

Hey, thinking about applying to Junia, specifically for the engineering program. Are there any actual 'coupons' or discount codes floating around for the application fee or tuition?

L Laura Beaumont 2 months ago
Nah, they don't do like, coupon codes in the usual sense. My friend got their tuition fully covered though because they landed an apprenticeship contract, so the company paid.

Yeah, what the other person said. It's more about scholarships or if you do the alternance program. I looked everywhere for a code and there's just nothing like that.
